Why AHD?These programs are designed for players who have developed strong fundamental skills and who are playing at the competitive level. These are demanding camps consisting of intensive on ice and off ice workouts. The objective is to accelerate our players out side of their comfort zone. This will enhance a player’s confidence to strive and succeed at the next level. Our emphasis will be placed on individual skill development, which leads to team support. We will emphasis training for both forwards and defencemen. The high level of intense practices will lead to attacking on the offensive side of the puck, and defending playing on the defensive side of the puck. Reasons why you should attend an AHD Camp — Play and train intensive HOCKEY, under guided professional supervision of experienced coaches. We limit the amount of players in each session to allow for the best possible working conditions and work to rest ratio. — It is not always going to be easy, but hard work always garners self-improvement and self-satisfaction. We will promote each player to develop a high level of self-motivation. It is AHD’s philosophy that the children have to want to improve themselves’ first. — We encourage a fun and up tempo atmosphere with the continuing thought of absolute intensity during every drill. Our instructors are all experienced and accomplished hockey players to allow a relaxed relationship while pushing the kids to their maximum potential. — At our camps we encourage a team philosophy and teach that it is better to achieve team goals fist and foremost. Putting the group’s interest above your own and being a team player allows everyone to reach their own personal goals. — Here at AHD we believe that we have created a successful formula to extract and unleash the hidden talent in each player. This demanding camp will set in motion the wheels of development and create a well rounded and more mature player. |
